Wedding Weekend in Weipa
Weipa - we're coming your way!
We know that it's a bit hard to get a Celebrant to come to Weipa and most people have to travel to have their wedding in a different location.
So... we've decided to come to you!
Over the weekend of Friday 3rd of October to Sunday 5th of October 2025, pick an allocated ceremony time and have your marriage ceremony in the location of your choosing.
Your day will look like this;
- Bel from Cairns Bridal Hair and Make-up will arrive 2-4 hours before your ceremony to get you (the bride) and one other person all glammed up and ready for your wedding ceremony.
- Your bridal bouquet and groom's buttonhole will be delivered to you to bring to the ceremony, by Weipa Wildflowers.
- Your Celebrant, Blessings by Kate Bellman, will be waiting for you at your ceremony location to ensure you are legally married in a personalised ceremony with Jacinta from Jacinta Louise Photography there to capture all of the memories.
- You will then have your bridal party portraiture session with Jacinta Louise Photography after the ceremony for an hour.
- You can then celebrate in whichever way suits you best!
WHEN -- WHERE -- HOW MUCH
Wedding Weekend in Weipa will be held from
Thursday 2nd of October to Sunday 5th of October.
At the location of your choice, your ceremony can be held at one of the following times;
Thursday 2nd at 3.30pm (starting at 11.30am for MUA)
Friday 3rd at Sunrise - 6.30am (starting at 4am for MUA - bride only)
Friday 3rd at 11.00am (starting at 7am for MUA)
Friday 3rd at 3.30pm (starting at 11.30am for MUA)
Saturday 4th at Sunrise - 6.30am (starting at 4am for MUA - bride only)
Saturday 4th at 11.00am (starting at 7am for MUA)
Saturday 4th at 3.30pm (starting at 11.30am for MUA)
Sunday 5th at Sunrise - 6.30am (starting at 4am for MUA - bride only)
Sunday 5th at 11.00am (starting at 7am for MUA)
Sunday 5th at 3.30pm (starting at 11.30am for MUA)
Kate from Blessings by Kate Bellman will take you through everything from your initial enquiry to changing your name (if you want to that is!) after your ceremony.
