Everything was good from the beginning when Kate would talk on facetime since we were interstate. One of the good things about her compared to everyone else was that she would go out of her way to offer to find all the hire and helped us to book that all to make it easier for us! She would always come back to us with friendly chat, was very organised and made the whole process easy. That included the beach permit, doing all the paperwork, bringing in her own speaker, the music, her own desk, and all the hire for the entire ceremony including an arbour as well!

We had such a wonderful experience with Kate! She has such a bright and sparkly personality; she had us both at ease and laughing the very first time we met. After that first meeting, everything fell into place so easily and we knew that Kate was the perfect fit for us.

Kate married me and my husband just last week and I can't explain how happy I am with choosing her! Because of the pandemic we had to make a lot of changes, including venue which made it so much further from where she lives. Never once did she seem put out by changes, she was SO accommodating. From our first conversation with Kate we were set on having her as our celebrant – we just clicked so well! Kate was a dream to work with particularly during the chaos of planning a destination wedding in 2020. She was so approachable and flexible throughout our constant changing plans, even when we threw our original Port Douglas plans out the window and decided to pivot to a small wedding here in Brisbane. I knew Kate got our vibe and the ceremony would be great, but on the day she absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our ceremony was relaxed, personal and filled with love thanks to Kate. After our original celebrant cancelled on us in early 2020, we were in quite a pickle finding a marriage celebrant.
With all the Covid weddings being rebooked and limited availability everywhere, we were starting to feel the pressure and the stress. We rang Kate and she answered immediately and booked us in! We are still very grateful and couldn’t have picked a better celebrant even if we tried.
We were so glad our original celebrant cancelled.
One thing we love about Kate is that she is so down to earth and an absolutely beautiful soul.
After meeting her I knew that she was the one to marry my husband and I!
We honestly can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a celebrant.
She goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect and just the way you want it.

I can’t begin to explain how amazing Kate is. Kate recently married my partner of 16 years and myself on 22nd May 2021. The day did not go as planned, not only did we have a last minute ceremony venue change due to bad weather, we also lost our MC for the night last minute. Kate handled the changes so well and also stepped up to host our reception as our MC for the evening. Kate did an outstanding job and kept everything rolling along smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Kate’s warm, friendly and easy going nature made her the perfect fit for our wedding and I can’t recommend her enough.

There are no words that accurately describe the special role Kate had in our wedding day. She is warm, passionate and incredibly professional, and allowed us to create a wedding ceremony that suited us perfectly. She was always available to assist with timeline/vows/legal issues that may arise. Most importantly, Kate made an effort to not only get to know us, but also our family and friends that she met at various times in the lead up to the wedding. We can’t recommend Kate enough, not only did she marry us she also mc’d our reception. Her service is second to none, when we touched base with her we lived over 800kms away and needed to do all of the preliminary paper work and meetings online which was so easy for Kate, she made us feel calm and at ease with the whole process. This easy going attitude then blossomed into a beautiful friendship over the months of back and forth emails and Facebook messages before our wedding, on the day it was as if Kate was just an Aunty that had stepped in to make our love for each other official. Kate accommodated for our toddler being present at the ceremony and made the whole day a family event! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day! Thanks again Kate!!!

There’s not enough kind words to adequately describe our experience with Kate.
From our first phone call with her to discuss being our celebrant for our wedding, she immediately put us at ease allowing us so much input for what we wanted in a ceremony.
She then travelled 2hrs away from where she lives to catch up over lunch and discuss finer details, and finally on the day everything ran better than we could’ve even imagined.
I would recommend her for anyone looking for a fun, light-hearted and serious-when needs to be celebrant. Particular thank you for also using a loud “teachers” voice to round up our excited families for group photos following our ceremony. Above and beyond. Thank you Kate.

We first met Kate in June 2021, we were lucky enough that Kate was coming to Townsville for a naming ceremony and had the pleasure of meeting her.
From the moment we met, she told us she was a hugger, we instantly knew she was our celebrant. Throughout the entire 12 month planning process Kate was a massive help to us. Not only did she write an incredible ceremony, she assisted with vendors, was there whenever we needed advice, helped with our vows and was an incredible wedding day cheerleader.
When the day finally came the day everything ran smoothly, being in Kate’s presence instantly calmed both our nerves, it was like being married by one of your long term friends.
We were excited to have Kate join us to be our MC for the evening and wow she did not disappoint. She exceeded her MC duties and everyone was incredibly impressed by her. We had so many guests comment how amazing Kate was and we couldn’t agree more.
Kate, it’s safe to say our day wouldn’t have been the same without you.

We met with other celebrants who were perfectly lovely, but they felt more like that aunt that you don't know really well and was a bit of an awkward politeness.
From the moment we met Kate she was loud and exuberant and absolutely matched who we are as a couple, there was never an awkward moment with Kate and it felt like someone we had known for years and were just catching up with.
She nailed us perfectly and quickly and the proposal of our ceremony was spot on, there was no question from there that she was the celebrant we wanted.

We had Kate as our Celebrant a few weeks ago and I don't think we could have chosen better. We knew what we were looking for as a celebrant, and she definitely delivered. She has a nice loud voice, can give direction and knows what she's doing. It was a very easy process with her help, and she was available for us whenever we needed her. She was always checking in with us in regards to our ceremony. We thought she was so great we hired her as our MC at our reception as well, which she excelled in also. She made everyone feel welcome.
Would definitely hire her again, too bad she only does weddings.
We were confident on having Kate for our celebrant from the start! She is bubbly, approachable, doesn't beat around the bush and the best priced celebrant in FNQ. We also had her as our MC, which she did a great job at as well. Very grateful to have her with us on our special day!

Kate was absolutely the best Celebrant we could have chosen for our special day. We were very nervous about the ceremony and she made us feel so comfortable right from the start.
She can cater for any type of ceremony and brings so many ideas to make it extra special.
We had a very hard time choosing our special place but when we did, Kate was more than happy to meet our needs, which required her jumping in my best friend's car, with her gear and venturing up a remote 4x4 mountain track, to our special place.
Side note; we are probably the worst organisers ever, leaving a lot of things until the last minute, which Kate managed with so much ease and understanding.
Kate's personality is one in a million; warm, bubbly, funny and down to earth.
Whilst missioning it up to our special place, we had amazing conversation and a lot of laughs, it eased my nerves and my best friend, after meeting Kate, is now choosing her as their Celebrant for their special day next year. ❤️

Kate, you have been beyond amazing!
From our first meeting, to us changing our mind multiple times on what we wanted, helping us create a ceremony that was perfectly fitting for our family, rehearsing us so it didnt feel overwhelming, keeping everyone organised on the day (especially our 3 kids), and even sewing my dress back together outside the chapel when I had a wardrobe malfunction!
You created a perfect wedding for us and we will be forever grateful for this.

She's warm, bubbly, so so helpful and was super accomodating to our wishes. The contact leading up to the wedding was 10/10 so quick at getting back to any and all questions I had- nothing was silly!
She made the process so easy and the day ran so smoothly!
My only regret is that we didn't have Kate at our reception!
